This year marks the beginning of my third year among you, the faithful of southern Missouri.  Our journey together as one local church of faith has been remarkably fulfilling. I have once again witnessed that, even during the most challenging times, the Lord blesses us abundantly through our faith, families and parish communities. In all times, He provides us the opportunities to grow more fully in our relationship with Him.

As brothers and sisters in Christ, we live as his disciples, each day striving to model our lives after His. Stewardship is Jesus' invitation to each one of us to live our baptismal call. Because we are grateful for His many blessings, we are called to proclaim the Good News, living the truth in love through word and deed by praying, serving and sharing with our neighbors and treating all God's people as we would Christ Himself.
